Experiences in art and museums can have an immense impact on the life of an individual. Our job as designers is to not only give knowledge and experiences, but the possibility to grow curiosity and compassion within ourselves and our community.
Rachel Landress originally hails from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Production and Design with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. Rachel is a lifetime member of Tau Beta Sigma. She lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for three years before returning to school to pursue a Master's degree in Museum Exhibition Planning + Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Since leaving graduate school, Rachel has designed for McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama and the City of Farmington Museum system in Farmington, New Mexico.
Currently, she is Creative Coordinator at Telluride Arts Council in Telluride, CO.
